One of my GMAT students once called my bluff. I said in class — only half-jokingly — that if you let me lie in the application, I could put a monkey into Harvard. He decided it would be fun to try, even though he had been rejected by all six schools he applied to the previous year — including Harvard. So I wrote his application essays.
